YouTube to Discord integration
Community servers and sales channels both benefit from the same thing: knowing when someone asks about pricing or enterprise plans. VocLens posts those comments to any Discord channel through a standard incoming webhook — no bot hosting, no Discord OAuth approval, no extra infrastructure. Setup is a single URL: create the webhook in your channel, paste it into VocLens, pick the intent levels to forward, and send a test embed before going live.
Why it works
Create an incoming webhook in your channel, paste the URL, done. There is nothing to host, no approval queue and no permission review.
Each post carries the commenter avatar, subscriber count, intent label and a timestamp deep link, so the server can judge the signal at a glance.
Comments are polled every few minutes and forwarded immediately when they look like leads, so buying signals arrive while the viewer is still around.
Add one webhook per Discord channel and scope each to a different YouTube channel or video, or switch the destination to digest and receive low-priority comments batched on a schedule.
How it works
- 01Create a Discord webhook
Channel settings, Integrations, New Webhook, copy the URL.
- 02Add it to VocLens
Paste the URL, choose which intent levels to forward, and scope it to the channels you actually care about.
- 03Verify with a test
Send a test embed to confirm formatting, then watch high-intent comments arrive as they are posted.
FAQ
Do I need a Discord bot?
No. VocLens posts through a standard channel webhook, so there is no bot to host and no OAuth approval to wait for.
How many Discord channels can I forward to?
One webhook per Discord channel. You can add several and scope each one to a different YouTube channel, video or intent level.
Can I digest instead of posting every comment?
Yes. Set the destination policy to digest and low-priority comments arrive batched on a schedule instead of as one message at a time.
