Why your best leads are invisible

Most comment sections look like a wall of "Great video!" and emoji reactions. Somewhere in that stream sits a comment that actually pays the bills:

Do you have an enterprise plan? Price for 50 seats + SSO?

To a human skimming on mobile, that comment looks identical to the noise around it. To your revenue, it is the single most valuable line on the page.

The three intent buckets

We classify every comment into one of three buckets:

  1. High intent — pricing, API, enterprise, procurement or partnership questions.
  2. Tech support / bug — setup problems, stack traces, "does this work with Golang?".
  3. General — praise, jokes and emoji.

Only the first bucket belongs in your CRM. The second belongs in your issue tracker. The third needs no action at all.

Turn comments into a workflow

The trick is not just labeling — it is routing. A labeled comment that nobody sees is still a lost lead. Connect the high-intent bucket to the tools you already live in:

  • Notion for a lightweight CRM record
  • GitHub Issues for bug reports you can actually reproduce
  • Slack for a real-time ping when a deal-sized comment lands

Start small

You do not need a data team. Point VocLens at one channel, let it watch for a week, and count how many high-intent comments you would have missed by hand. That number is your business case.
